It all started about a year ago.
I received a random direct message from a fellow fashion blogger, asking me to join a blog support group that she was starting. I had only been blogging for about four months, so I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to connect with bloggers far more successful than me. Little did I know it would lead to me to meeting nine of the most amazing women I know!
In just a year, we went from complete strangers to insisting we meet in person. And that’s exactly what we did! Earlier this month, we packed our bags and ventured off to Nashville. Ten ladies from ten different states, only knowing so much as their Instagram handles and some personal details. But as each girl arrived, it was as if we were seeing our best friends from childhood step through the door. Screams, cries, laughs and a whole lot of hugs ensued as we greeted each girl. It was the perfect start to an even more perfect weekend!
We spent the entire weekend running around Nashville enjoying photo shoots, restaurants, Broadway nightlife, yoga classes, designing jewelry at Kendra Scott and so much more. But my favorite part of the weekend was staying up until the wee hours of the night, just chatting about the journey God was taking each of them on. We prayed together, laughed together, cried together and ultimately became the best of friends!
I couldn’t possibly cram all the fun details of our trip into one blog post, so I’ll share more details in Part Two. For now, I’d like to introduce you all the beautiful gals that I’m so blessed to call my blogger friends:
During our trip, we worked with a few brands that allowed us to showcase everyone’s unique individual styles and personalities. Our shirts from The Home T were one of our favorite items to do just that! The shirts are so incredibly soft and made right here in the good ol’ USA. They also donate 10% of purchases to MS research. How could you not love a company like that?!
Isn’t it amazing how social media can bring complete strangers together and create the most beautiful of friendships? Of all the fashion bloggers out there, I am so thankful that we came together to form this group. God sure knew exactly what we needed when it came to growing our blogs and that we’d be the perfect fit embark on even more adventures together.
Where will trip No. 2 take this gorgeous group of gals? Time will only tell, but I hope it’s not long before I’m united with them again!
