Before I started this blog, I was a boutique shopper.
I didn’t make my purchases based on how much commission I could make. I was very strategic with my purchases; thinking how I could find items that I could wear both to work and for play. But once I started blogging, I found my style slightly changing. I recently took a stroll around my closet (it didn’t take long). I discovered that most of my recent purchases were off the shoulder tops, cold shoulder tops or maxi dresses. Items not typically permitted for the workplace. So, I’ve decided to add a new element to my blog and feature some of my favorite boutiques and items that I love for work and play!
This is not a collaboration and I am not getting paid to write about these boutiques. I’m just a gal that simply loves discovering unique clothing that is not available in a massive department store or chain retailer.
I’ve been shopping at Impressions Boutique for about seven years now. I discovered them in college when I was trying to stick to a strict shopping budget and as an Oklahoma girl, I love the southern style of their clothing. It’s very classy, bright and unique, just like this top I discovered the other day! I wore it to work yesterday and got SO many compliments on it! My jeans are also from one of my favorite boutiques, Red Dress Boutique. And my bag is a recent favorite collaboration with Oliver Bilou.
So, cheers to the girls who love discovering a cute little boutique shop! I’ll be sharing more boutiques and all my finds with you, so be sure to check back each month!
